For the Visual Image Assessment...you will need to develop your ideas so...working in groups, work through this process to produce a poster before the end of the lesson...
In my poster, I use the colours black and blue. Black to symbolise the way Kung Sang is feeling and blue because it is a cold colour that shows his grief. I have used an image of him behind the gate, as if he is locked in by his pain. The circle of hands around the outside symbolises the people at the allotment. The hands are all different colours to show the different nationalities and they form a protective circle around Kung Sang which allowed him to get better. I have used the words from The Beatles song "Help, I need somebody!" but changed them slightly to relate it more to the viewer. The song is significant because the film "Grow Your Own" was filmed in Liverpool and The Beatles are from there too. I hope that people will interpret this image and feel a positive sense of community and belonging.
